There were a number of points in between Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, but the home team, led by the combination of Matthew Stafford and Puck Naqua, came away with the victory.
It was a huge victory for the Ramsas they are now 7-6 in the tight NFC West race after the 44-42 win. Meanwhile, the Bills, now 10-3, have diminished their chances of being the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC.

Stafford and the Rams went on a 12-play, 70-yard drive when Kyren Williams ran in from three yards out to start the drive.
Then Josh Allenwho was phenomenal despite the loss, responded with a nine-play drive that went 70 yards before finally sneaking into the end zone from one yard out to make it 7-7.
Los Angeles, however, closed the gap with a perfectly executed special teams play that ultimately helped seal the win. After the field goal made it 10-7 in favor of the Rams, the defense forced the Bills to punt, but that ball never made it into the air as it was blocked and Hunter Long recovered the ball for the score. .

At 17-7, the Rams never trailed again in this game. Allen did his best to keep scoring, but Stafford always came back.
And a lot of that had to do with Naku, who had 162 yards on 12 receptions with a touchdown both on the ground and through the air.
There’s also Cooper Kupp, who accounted for 92 of Stafford’s 320 yards and his second passing touchdown of the game.
In the fourth quarter, Allen looked to win the game and managed to score three goals, including one with a minute left.
However, a failed quarterback sneak caused Bills head coach Sean McDermott to call the first of three halftime timeouts, which was crucial because it meant an onside kick had to be taken instead of a deep punt and gave the defense a chance to stop .
Tyler Bass’s onside kick was recovered by Ronnie Rivers, and the Rams held on for the win.
Looking more into the box score, there wasn’t much Allen could do. He scored three times on the ground while leading the Bills with 82 yards rushing on 10 carries while going 22-for-37 through the air for 342 yards and three scores.
Khalil Shakir was his top target again with 106 yards on five catches, including a 51-yard catch and run that scored six points. Amari Cooper also had 95 yards on six carries, while Mack Hollins and Ty Johnson collected touchdowns through the air.
