Central Bank of Syria: Citizens’ deposits in banks are safe

On Monday, the Central Bank added on the Facebook platform: “We assure our fellow citizens who do business with all operational banks that their deposits and money deposited in those banks are safe and that they are not and will not be exposed to any harm.”

According to Reuters, the source said: Central Bank of Syria And two sources from two commercial banks: the Central Bank and commercial banks in Syria Work will continue tomorrow, Tuesday, and employees are required to go to work.

This comes after Syrian opposition forces overthrew the president’s regime Bashar al-Assad.

The war in Syria since 2011 has caused widespread destruction of infrastructure across the country, including major cities and even many rural areas that have been subjected to near-total destruction as a result of bombing and fighting.

Residential and commercial facilities, in addition to health and educational facilities, water and electricity networks, etc., were subjected to massive destruction, which posed great challenges to restore life to normal in the affected areas, requiring huge investments and enormous efforts.
