After Tesla announced its The 2024 Holiday Update will include the Apple Watch appthe latter is now available for download in Apple’s App Store.
Version 4.39.5 of the Tesla iOS app includes Apple Watch support, released today, December 3, 2024.
“Pair your watch as a dongle and use your favorite Tesla App features on Apple Watch,” explains the Tesla app update.
Additionally, you can “view and save Dashcam and Sentry Mode clips in Security > Dashcam Viewer”.
The Tesla Apple Watch app allows you to:
- Start/stop charging
- Lock/unlock the door
- Open the trunk
- See charge status in % and km/mi
- Start/stop climate
- Close/open trunk
- Close/open the charging port
- Outbreaks
- signal
- See VIN, current software version, program version
The Apple Watch app also acts as a phone key. This means that if you don’t have an iPhone, the Apple Watch will let you log in and run your Tesla.
