First look at the Tesla app for Apple Watch

A few days after confirmation from Tesla, we got our first look at the app the company is releasing for the Apple Watch.

The release was a part Tesla 2024 Holiday Software Update.

After being confirmed directly by Tesla, the automaker said it will have several new features, including showing your car’s current state of charge, unlocking the funk and controlling the interior climate.

We haven’t seen all of its features yet, but we finally got our first look at the app since its release:

We see the three features that Tesla talked about in its holiday update release: the frunk button on the bottom left, the climate controls on the bottom right, and the charge status in the middle of the two.

There is also a lock button in the upper right corner and a drop down menu in the upper left corner.

Although it is now quite far from reliable, what more could owners of their Cybertruck want from an Apple Watch? It looks like the app will be used more for managing quick features than for anything serious like ASS (Factually Smart Summon).

The The Apple Watch app has been a feature that owners have been asking for for a long time. For years, people with Teslas have been asking for some kind of smartwatch app to do quick actions like unlocking or opening doors.

A few months ago, we reported that Tesla had hinted at this app from a source coding found in his application.
