If gift shoppingyou have to strike a balance between buying someone what they want and what they need. This year I would like to ask you to think about what children need these days; is it another sweater and more video games, or is something that sparks their imagination and inspires interest in science more important? I’ve rounded up the best Black Friday car toy deals to help you capture them with a passion for life.

RC cars and STEM toys make fun gifts for enthusiasts of all ages, especially children. Moving things in the real world can spark a lifelong love of science and technology, and maybe for adults it can open their eyes to the importance of being hands-on and getting outside. Put down the phones; after you’re done shopping, obviously.

If you’re having a hard time weaning your kids off video games, you need to give them a reason. Get them an RC caror better yet, take two of them and go racing together.
