Amani is back Lebanon After undergoing treatment in IranDue to hand, eye and face injuries.
On Tuesday, the ambassador inspected the site of the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the party’s headquarters in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Amani appeared wearing sunglasses and spoke to the media from the scene of the raid.
Amani said: “The martyrs who died in Lebanon were victims of the barbarity of the Zionist entity, and we see the same victims in Palestine Especially in Gaza,” his statements were reported by the official IRNA news agency.
Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon added: “I returned to my mission because I felt a duty.” The (Iranian) Foreign Minister also emphasized the necessity for me to return to my mission after recovery. I didn’t do anything special. I only came back to do my duty.”
He spoke of injuries to his hand, eye and face, adding: “Fortunately, these injuries were largely healed and I was able to continue my mission.”
Last September, dozens were killed and thousands injured during simultaneous attacks on radio communications equipment used by Hezbollah in Lebanon, in what was attributed Israel Which she later admitted.
