The document also included launching a comprehensive justice and transitional justice process to ensure accountability for crimes committed since the June 1989 coup, including extradition to the International Criminal Court and crimes committed in the ongoing war, to achieve justice and fairness for those who are affected.
The meetings were attended by leading figures from the Takadum parties, including Vice President of Coordination Al-Hadi Idris, Secretary General Siddiq Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, Omar Al-Daghir, President of the Sudanese Congress Party, Babiker Faisal, President of the Federal Rally and Mariam Al-Sadiq, vice president of the Umma Party. From the Democratic Bloc, the original Federal Party, led by Jafar Al-Mirghani, and the Democratic Alliance for Justice, led by Mubarak Ardul, participated. Representatives of the National Congress and the Umma Party, led by Mubarak Al-Fadil, also participated.
