The Boring Company’s recently completed Tesla tunnel at Gigafactory Texas is now receiving initial designs for a Cybertruck-shaped exit, as longtime drone watcher Joe Tegtmeier noted this week.
Tegtmeier shared the news in a construction update video on Friday, saying it had confirmed the Cybertruck theme with factory sources. He also shared photos of the exit from the tunnel on Xin which you see builders putting the finishing touches on the original steel structures, clearly designed to look like a Cybertruck.
The video also showcases ongoing paving efforts to help extend the asphalt south, along with several other unrelated construction upgrades around the plant.

Last month, updates from fellow drone watcher Brad Sloan showed this Tesla has almost completed the tunnel and is painting its interiorafter in March, the Boring Company began construction of the tunnel. It is expected to play a role in the delivery of vehicles
The tunnel has since been completed and you can see this and a few other details like details Tesla is testing the Cybercab at Giga Texas— in Tegtmeier’s latest update. Check it out below.
Tesla has several construction projects underway at its Texas Gigafactory, including the debut of the so-called The Cortex supercomputer cluster and their massive cooling towerswhich can also be seen in the video above. Besides Giga Texas, Musk’s Boring Company also has several other projects in the US, most notably in Las Vegas, Nevada, where a much larger network of tunnels is being built that will eventually cover the city.
At the original Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), which is already in operation, Tesla is expected to use self-driving cars (FSD) and autopilot at some pointafter a local report shared that the center’s president and CEO, Steve Hill, suggested that driver-assistance devices would soon be used in the tunnels. Hill didn’t reveal what tools would be used, but Tesla’s own software seems like the logical conclusion given that the company’s vehicles are already in use on the cycle.
