Tesla appears to be preparing to add several new streaming platforms to its Tesla Theater feature, according to code found in the Tesla app @Tesla_iOS_App.

The update suggests that services such as TVLand, MTV, Paramount and HBO GO may soon be available to Tesla drivers, further enhancing entertainment options. There is nothing better than watching TV or movies when you are pregnant or expecting someone.

The disclosure highlights a feature labeled “parsePossibleSources,” indicating Tesla’s intent to better integrate the Tesla app with the car’s built-in infotainment system. This synchronization aims to improve the user experience by making seamless access to video streaming services directly from the car.

Tesla Theater, an existing feature in the company’s cars, allows users to watch content on services such as Netflix, YouTube and Disney+. With a premium subscription, Tesla offers data access to stream these services. Users with existing subscriptions to streaming services simply log in with their existing credentials and can watch right away.
